I can't seem to find the answer anyway but it don't seem like that much of a problem. Is there away to mount srt (subtitles) to a Avi or Mkv? I have a media box and it doesn't allow me to add the srt. Only way is by having the subs hardcoded
Download mkvtoolnix and use the included mkvmerge GUI to add the avi and srt, then mux. Note that the subs are added as a selectable stream, they are not hardcoded. http://www.videohelp.com/download/mkvtoolnix-6.9.1-setup.exe
I use AnyVideoConverter to hardcode the .srt into the video file and at the same time to .mkvx264 or .mp4x264 which pretty much play in anything.
