My mouse broke the other day, so i bought a new one

So I bought a wireless optical rechargable one. But the problem is its not recharging.

Its been on the dock now for like 2 days because it stops after about 10 mins. The first time I used it out of the box it lasted about a day.

    Any ideas?

The obvious first question is....Do you have a rechargeable battery in the mouse?

Second question.....What make an model mouse is it?

    Third question......Did you RTFM?

RTFM is short version of my saying RTFMD which stands for & not meant as an insult, "Read The F***ing Manual Dummy".

well thanks for that. come for some help and get insulted

yes and the manual would be very helpful if it contained anything on recharging the bloody mouse!!!! just how to install it. seeing as the pointer moved i presume it does, it just keeps losing power

As ddp said, it was not intended as an insult. You would know it, if my intent was to insult you. :)

I have never heard of that brand, but it may very well be that you just got a bad mouse. Have you contacted the manufacturer?

do you have or can borrow a multimeter to check the voltage on both the batteries & charger? do you have another battery charger or rechargeable batteries that fits your mouse?

just tested the charger, its ok. the batteries are ok. the mouse works if i recharge the batteries elsewhere, like in my battery recharger

so im thinking the problem is with the docking station, or the connection on the mouse...

    ill take it back 2moro.

advent are quite big in the uk, but for computer systems. i believe they are made by pc world which is where i got it from (the uks biggest computer shop) should of been 45 quid... so it will be getting back at there heads.

sorry for being in a foul mood, i know it wasnt meant as an insult, i was just being a prat
