ok, so I'd like a direct route from mov and rm to VCD or SVCD: some MPEG... I've tried MOV2AVI. Nice little free program, but River Past (and you have to buy it unless you get a serial, because I've found only that and not keygen) gives better quality and is great, except (unlike Virtual Dub, which doesn't handle .mov) if the output audio bitrate is higher than the output AB then you get an incmplete video. Well, anyway, I usually use River Past b/c of the video quality, but what if I want to save to MPEG? I have a MPEG (DVCD?SVCD/VCD) player and I don't want the degraded AVI quality of the .mov to .ave conversion. Any programs to help out?
