Someone took some video clips on their digital still camera in .mov which requires Quicktime. Can I somehow convert these to .avi, or even .wmv so as to create something that will play on Window's Media Player, or to create VCD? Seems .mov is not accepted in these video editing applications. Thanks a ton.

For MOV to AVI, download MOV2AVI.

For MOV to MPEG, download TMPGEnc and the QTPlugin from the software section of this site. Make sure that you have the latest quicktime player installed!
