my internet isnt working. I moved my brand new built computer of only 1 week old to a new antec 900 case. After moving it the internet just doesnt work on the system. It worked just fine in my old case. I am using a wireless G adapter by linksys to power my internet on my desktop. Even before the massive move of parts, the internet worked just fine in its old case after it was newly built. But all of a sudden after reformatting, installing the driver for the wireless G adapter, and even plugging in an ethernet cable, the internet still doesnt work.

but see, before i formatted, i just moved the entire computer to the new case. and the internet didnt work. the settings were all the same as before when it was in the old case, so i dont know why it wouldnt work. it doesnt make sense that it would work in an old case, but just because i moved it it decides to crap out. the entire reason i reformatted was because i found no other solution to fix the internet. Now im directly connected to the modem with a cable, but the internet still doesnt pick up on the desktop, and no little "local area connection" pops up in the internet connections in control panel.

ya that is a little weird. just so i correctly understand.. you took appart the computer & put it all in a new case without changing anything on the hardrive or anything & you are sure you connected everything correctly & the internet no longer works. how did you connect to the internet, what type of hardware & software do you use & if you use a router or adsl modem have you reset it?
