moved house now have less channells?

    hi,
    ive moved house and im only getting 71 channells in the old house i was getting 150 approx both are on nthell did a full power scan from210 to 420 im in dublin with both houses (just down the road from each other)
    thanks for any help!!

    Check to see if there is a splitter on your connection, or maybe some of your wiring is loose.

    As Evastar suggested remove any splitters and make sure all conections are fully inserted... then do another Auto scan!

    sorry for the late reply! i think where i have the box , its the main nthell box (ie livivg room) not sure if that makes a difference but thanks for the replys!

    It shouldn't matter where you have the box. Is the cable going directly into it, not splitting the signal into a few different rooms. If you are splitting the signal, try feeding cable directly into box and auto scan again. You might need to get a booster if you are splitting the signal.

    What's the reception like on your ordinary n*l box. If you plug that in instead are you getting all the channels, or not? If not, leave that plugged in, and ring n*l to complain about the reception. They might have to send a tech out to your house to check or change your wiring. If they do, just make an appointment and leave your n*l box connected up the day they are calling and hide the other box. OK.
