what is the file extension of the file?

Find this out by going to the file and in the window the file is in go to TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/VIEW TAB and down the list of options there is one named (hide extension for known file types) uncheck the box and apply the settings and it should give a 3 letter extension of the file.

i did what u said but i cant find it
the thing is with this is that i downloaded the movie ita split into 93 files using winrar but winrar can not seem to understand that its a winrar file now where i got the movie from thay gave a guide on how to make it work but i changed sum of the files so now i cant do it
this is wot was said on the guide
    1. Right click on any of these "rar" files. (which are not .rar.)

    2. When you see your options select, Select "Open" or "open with..."

    3. It will say "Windows cannot open this file"

    4. Where it says "what do you want to do?" click on select the program from a list".

5.Click on browse and locate your winrar icon. (where ever it may be)

    6. it wil open a new folder where you will see a "file img" which size is 4,624,848,...File img

    7. Click and drag the file img to your directory of whereever. It'll take 5 mins to do, but when its done. you will see the ISO file.

What you need to do is go to the folder your downloaded movie is in.

Make sure you have WinRAR installed.

Choose the first RAR file in the folder. Example:

    Downloadedmovie.001
    Downloadedmovie.002
    Downloadedmovie.003
    Downloadedmovie.004

In your case the RAR files should go all the way up to .093

You would choose = Downloadedmovie.001 since that is the first RAR file.

Now right click your mouse button on the first RAR file and choose (OPEN WITH) in the list. Then choose (WINRAR) in the list that pops out.

This will open up the WinRAR program. Next choose to extract and it will extract the FULL image file by extracting all the other RAR files automaticly(93 of them) into 1 image file.

Now go to the Image file that it creates and burn with your burning software.

The only way you could have changed the extensions of the file was if you renamed the file and changed the extension of them. Choosing a diffrent program other then RAR wouldnt chnage the extensions it would just try to open up the file using whatever program you choose to open it with. It still should open up with WinRAR unless you renamed the extension yourself. What are the extensions of the files named now?
