I recently started having problems with my computer burning. All of the sudden dvd shrink and nero stopped working properly. It will go through with the entire burn process say its completed and when I go to put it in my dvd player it skips and freezes. This has never happened to me before. I thought it was my burner so i bought a new one, then another, and its still not burning correctly. Like I said dvd shrink always says backup complete. I am running windows vista premium home and nero 8 i have downloaded all updates and still will not work. PLEASSSSSEEEEE HELLPPPPPP
1. Use either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim blank media 2. Don't burner faster than 8x max 3. Make sure you have the latest most up to date firmware for you're drive/burner,check here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php 4. Make sure you are burning on a clean machine without other programs running
Thanks I reinstalled windows, did not install nero or any of the optional updates and now it works fine with dvdfab
