Please turn off the 'Caps Lock', key. It's known as shouting and is a breech of netiquette. You are probably referring to file sharing (as downloading movies is not condoned at Afterdawn - it reeks of piracy). You probably want to install a Torrent client. You can check this out on the 'Glossary' tab, but uTorrent is as good as any. http://www.utorrent.com/
hmm, didn't read the rules.. Agree, caps are rude, also I was going to suggest other then P2P programs, but from your post I think you should stick to P2P cause others will be out of your hands.
Oh sorry i didn't know about the caps sorry. Thank you for the information. After downlaoding this files what program do i need to put it on a cd so i can watch it on dvd player thank you..........
If the files are in AVI format you have a couple of options. If your standalone DVD player is DivX certified, then you can fill up a DVD disk (a data DVD) with files and play them. The other option is to convert the AVI file to DVD file format and burn to disk. You should note that an AVI is a compressed file and when converted to DVD format takes up much more space. A rule of thumb might be, if the video runs for two hours, that will fill a DVD, whereas you might be able to put a years episodes of Star Trek on one data disk. Nero can copy the AVI files to the data disk or convert the AVI files to DVD format. There are also free programs available to convert from AVI to DVD, but they generally involve more steps than the commercial programs. Good luck!
