I may be wrong, but it sounds like crap media to me. Again, use high quality media such as Fuji, Maxell, Verbatim, TY, Sony and TDK next time.

by source i assume you mean mpeg ect the one i download is avi use winavi to convert and nero to burn. i have just upgraded my mobo and processor to a better one than i had and i didnt have this problem before so i am a little confused cos i downloaded the same codec packs as before

Could be bad DVD(the one your burning onto)
    I had about 8 bad DVD in a 50pk Maxcell 8x DVD-R pack.(job provides free)
I thought burning slower(2x) made a difference, but still the same results.
I bought Sony DVD's and NO problems burning at 8x

its probably the source file, try and re download it from another place and then see if the new one is corrupt or not

    Jim_80,

I had (still have) a similar problem to you. The details and suggestions to which are listed in the thread titled "NeroVision Express 3 - burn successful however playback is stuttered. "

I have made a recent entry on this thread to bring it back to the first page for you.

I suggest that you read over the thread, and in particular those entries by Craig, as he actually works for Nero.

Hope the information in it helps you.
