Hey, I have indeed TRIED reading many of the other topics and in differet areas of the forum about dvd ripping etc but now have completly bamboziled myself. I feel if I tell you my direct situation One of you guys could possibly lend me your experience/knowledge to help me out - only if you can. The Situation : I have an AVI movie stored on my computer. I would like to put in on my Xbox 360 to watch. Ive treid methods such as the flash pen etc as i thought that would work, and my Ipod video to as mediums, but to no avail - nothing works. I do have an ethernet cable connectiong my 360 to my computer could i do some sort of file sharing to the xbox's HDD? Any other methods are welcomed. Many thanks Nero
As far as I know you can set up some kind of Windows Media Centre between your PC and your 360, I don't know if this would let you play the .avi file. Is your PC and 360 hooked up to the same screen?
Have you ran the WMC configuration? I know you can play .wmv files on your 360. Have you tried converting them to that format?
