    Guys,
I posted a few days ago on DVD Newbies with burning problems, and I thought I'd resolved it but I haven't. Basically I burn via iamge, vobs, alcohol files using Nero 7, Ulead, DVDFab etc. Using all of them the movie skips for 30 seconds after 12 minutes (always the same place - on about 40 DVDs now), then the same after 30 minutes and similar every 30 minutes or so after that.
After my last post I explained I used 8X Ridisc, datawrite DVD-R etc, most of the guys said it's the media. I tried a Verbatim I had hanging around - thought I'd cracked it but I haven't - it was just that the skip was smoother and I didn't notice it. So I picked up some Taiyo TYG02 last night - still skipping same place even with these.
Any other ideas? My writer is an external LG 2164 16X, I've updated the firmware. Is there anything I can run to check. I know Nero had a DVD info tool, or anything else that I can run then do a grab and post the results here so you guys can have a look. I've also cleaned the lens with a normal lens cleaner disc. Or any other ideas of what the problem is?
    Cheers in advance

When you burn files using Nero it creates a Log file. I think when the job is finished it might ask you if you want to save the log file. Select Yes and post the log file here making sure to edit out your serial number. The serial number is normally shown at the beginning of the log file.
