movies stream from pc to hdtv

    i have checked the forums and cant quite find the answer i am looking for. i want to hook my hdtv to my tv tuner or my nvidia 7600. i will be use window media center to do that. what cords will i need and what tv tuner cars would you recommend i use. thanks for the help.

    You need to know which connectors your TV has that support HD resolution. Chances are you have one or more HDMI connectors on the TV. Whatever video card you use should have a DVI connector. I think the 7600 actually has dual DVI. Therefore, you will need either a DVI to HDMI cable or (my preference) an HDMI (M to M) cable along with a DVI to HDMI (F) adapter. You will also need to decide how you will get sound to your HDTV. Your video card needs to support the TV resolution, whatever that is. If it's 720p, most video cards will do that. If it's 1080i or 1080p, be sure to check that the video card will drive the resolution. I don't think the 7600 will drive either of the 1080 resolutions. I generally buy cables, etc. from monoprice.com in the U.S.

    thank you that help i do have dual dvi i am pricing dvi-hdmi cords right now.
