The only way I have at the moment to watch a movie is on my laptop. But lately when I try to watch a movie on it the music and the background noise is loud and I can't hear the people in the movie talking or just barely can hear them. There is no use watching the movie if I can't hear the people speak. Does anyone know why this is happening? I put in three movies now and it all has the same problem. It seems like the background music is overpowering the talking. I have no idea why this is happening but it is ruining my movie experience.

This reminds me of when I first bought my surround sound system for my TV. I was trying to figure out the sound settings. You'll have to forgive me, I'm not sure of the proper terminology for this stuff. But, you can set it up for "Concert Hall" sound or "Movie Theater" sound or something of that nature. There was 1 setting for "Vocals" or "Voice" or something like that. Where the talking would take precedence over everything else. There is probably a menu in the program you are using that has a similar feature. If nothing else, is there an Equalizer to adjust the sound with? If so, you could raise up the center adjustments. I believe this is the range that human voice would fall into. Boy, I hope this makes sense! It kind of sounds like I [bold]half[/bold] know what I'm talking about.
