Hello, is their a setting in dvd decrypter that will insure that the movie I have burned will play in my/any dvd player? I have a Phillips dvd710at and the movies I burn w/dvd shrink/decrypter will not play on that dvd player? I have a cheaper cyberhome player and they work fine? The phillips player plays original movies fine. Did Phillips find out how to block copied movies so they wont play in theri players? I have used dvd+ and dvd- still will not play. Is this a characteristic of the Phillips player? Thanks Bill
what kind of media are you using?your phillips player may just not be compatible with the blank media you are using.recommend you use taiyo yuden or verbatim discs.some players are picky about the kind of discs used, that may be the case in your situation.
To add to that, Lightning UK, the creator of DVD Decrypter realized that the program needed an updated burning engine for today's new burners as well as many other updates. Since this was legally impossible, he created ImgBurn. Use ImgBurn instead.
I have used Memorex,Sony, and Staples brand without any problems in other dvd players. I have never heard of or doubt if I can purchase locally the brand taiyo yuden. I have seen verbatim locally, although switching brands would not help me with all the previous disc's I have. This Phillips player is several years old now. Do you think that any brand of new dvd players would be more compatible with all different brands of blank media?
your movies wont play because it either isnt ableto play divxhas to say that or have a dvd+r or dvd-r on it. also to play burnt movies a 32 mb processor is best because the movie is broken down into small fragment. were as a store bought has half as much. so the processor needs to run faster to read the extra pieces. a 24 mb processor will read it for a while then freeze cuase it cant keep up..
I'll just junk the Phillips and go back to my cheapo Cyberhome player. Never had a problem with IT no matter what brand dvd blank media I used!!!
