Next year I have to move my EV from a TW area to a N*L area (Tyne Tees) Am I right in saying that all I have to do is flash the EV and download the relevant CDF file? If that is correct is there a way to beg the correct CDF from here (when the time comes) or is that breaking forum rules under code begging? I am quite competent to do a factory reset and powerscan if that is the case. Any pointers/advice appreciated
All you will need to do is (Factory Default and powerscan on 6887) and you will get all the channels the CC provide, there is no need to re-flash your box if you have at that time a fully working firmware, providing of course that you do have an active cable feed in the property you are moving to. As regards requesting a CDF that is not begging *****, and you might even find one under HiTecks post in his Channel Dumps link.

I know I know - it's always been there but remember what you were told about wood & trees (& dim people).
