Can anybody give me some advice on the following? I have a SV4 (working perfect) and have just received a Kryptview A750 which I intend to use elsewhere in the house. For this I have to install a second TV point. Im just wondering if there is a recommended type of cable to use with the splitter or will standard coaxial cable be sufficient? I'm on N.T.flippin L. in Dublin if that helps. Any advice on this greatly appreciated.
As`long as you have good quality cable, and a good quality metal splitter, you should be fine, the one to get is the 1000millamp no loss metal splitter.
wanted to ask also, if i'm connecting directly from PC to Kryptview which null modem cable do i ask for in the shop. or is it only the blue 9 pin female to female?
thats what i thought. i went to Maplins and all they had was a black serial null modem cable so i didnt get one. is radionics the only place you can get one?
a few different shops usally stock them.i got mine in a small shop that services laptops on the southside of dublin for a tenner.some shops were asking for 20 quid .id say there in demand at the moment best to get the yellow pages out and ring ur local shops.or have a look online.
