Moving to US from UK - Can I take my Xbox?

    I'm moving to the US for a few months and was wondering whether I could take
    my xbox with me, or if it's just going to be more hassle than it's worth.

    I know I'll need a step-up transformer, but will I have a lot of trouble
    with the whole PAL/NTSC issue?

    I'm not that fussed about being able to play region 1 games on it, but I do
    really need to be able to play region 1 and 2 DVDs - what's the best way of
    going about this?

    I'm not afraid to modchip if I have to.....any recommendations?

    I'm not that keen on buying a US console, as on top of the base expense, I'd
    have to get another DVD kit and still have to chip it to play my region 2
    games.

    Any advice greatly appreciated

    well like u said u'd have to get the transformer, but that isnt expensive.

    just get it modded, then you can play PAL and NTSC games and all region dvds. works great for me, i have NTSC version of Hulk and works perfectly!!
