I used to have a Phillips stereo based CDR recorder, which finally died after 2000+ burns (can't blame it). Now I've just started using the Windows Media player to rip/burn CDRS. So far I like it - especially the cover art and track info populating when I rip. I want to go back and upload the rest of my collection (the 2000+ CDs mentioned above) to my computer, but my C drive only has about 70 GB free and I doubt they will all fit. My F drive (D & E are my DVDR drives) has about 350 GB, which should be enough space - but I don't know how to reassign the F drive as the location for Media Player to rip to and play from. Can someone advise me how to do this? I'm sure it must be possible as most external drives promote their music storage capability - which implies people can actually put music there and retrieve it.
