I would like to first apologize if the message has been posted before but I did search and could not find it. I have tried to encode several different audio files using tmpgenc converting the frequency from 44100 to 48000 and the song always plays too fast. The 44100 plays at the perfect speed of the movie but once it is converted it all goes down hill. I am using tmpgenc plus 2.5 settings stream type mpeg-1 audio layer 2, sampling rate 48000, channel stero, bitrate 224. I have also loaded the unlock.mcf. I am using toolame.exe for my layer 2 encoder and ssrc.exe as my frequency converter. I have also tried headache to no luck it will not work on my computer for some reason.

Can some one please help. I have been trying to backup my vcds to dvd and for the life of me I can not get the audio to slow down. I have tried encoding it with tmpgenc and it will not slow down the file when I play through my audio player any other suggestions please.
