hey there - when I use my regular burner drive and software (either nero or veritas) to make an audio CD - I add mp3 files and burn a disc but the finished disc has .cda files on it - what is happening here and why?
That is because you are making an "audio CD". That is the standard format that can be played on all CD players. Most burning software will do the conversion automatically. If you want to make an MP3 CD, you need to make a "Data CD".
