i need some good free software for compressing mp3s as i need to put them on my phone. i heard there is something which can compress them to 1mb, can anyone please help.
there are a few audio compressing softwares which do compress the songs depending on the length of the song. Some songs still stay at about 2-3MB but i managed to get 0.7MB (700KB) on one song. The problem is that these softwares are free and only convert half of the song. So when you listen only half of the song is there whereas the other half of the song has been deleted. (other people experience the song skipping 2-5 seconds in between). This does not happen with the paid version. If anybody does have the full version or knows a good program or the site where i can get it from that would be great. I also want to compress them for my phone. Thanks alot if anyone can help.
