hey, i have a few mp3 file that i am not to sure are mp3 files cause it cant seem to run it on my mp3 player. do you think there is a program that could convert these files to mp3. BTW its not on a cd so i cant rip it with winamp of something
it may be that you need mp4s on your player you can use this to convert them but youll need a licence if your tracks are more than 5 minuites http://www.download.com/ImTOO-MPEG-Encoder/3000-2194_4-10482842.html
Download a program called Encspot to see if they are real MP3 files or not. A program like DBPowerAMP can convert to different file types. Just google both names.
I use a couple of different programs to convert MP3's. One is "StreamBox Ripper" and the other is "Rawavrecorder" They both will convert MP3's to wave and you can work with them from there. I also use "Acoustica MP3 to Wave Converter". So between the 3 you can convert about any song file. I hope that this helps you.
hi there! try to use jet audio ver 6 plus a plugin of mp3, this will help you solving your problem about converting wav,cda etc. to mp3..
ok thanks for the advice, but i figured out another way to do it without software, but it dosent really work right so i am experementing. so i took all the music and made it into an image and created a vertual drive with alchohol120 and i mounted the image. then i used winamp (www.winamp.com) to rip it like a cd to mp3 format..this didnt work as well as i wanted to i think i will do it your way -Thanks
That sounds pretty software intensive to me. Take weazel200's advice. That way you don't have to create images or virtual drives. EncSpot: http://www.guerillasoft.co.uk/encspot/index.html dBpowerAMP: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ P.S. Did you pay for Alcohol 120 already? I think its a great app but Daemon Tools does is just as good as far as "Virtual drives" and its totally free! There are no recording or ripping options though.
