I just bought a car that has a mp3 stereo, the dealer told me that I can put like 166 songs on a regular cd. I have read the manual of the car, but it tells me nothing on how to do it. I have hundreds of cd's and I would like pick and chose songs off of them to make those MP3 cd's BUT - I have NO Clue as where to start - how to start - what program - I would appreciate the help. (step by step directions a must) LOL

don't worry man, its a pretty easy and pain free process. the first step is of course to convert your audio CDs to mp3 files, which can then be burned onto a CDR. EAC (exact audio copy) is the best and free ripper around. LAME is the best mp3 encoder. check out this guide for a step-by-step guide on how to get, install, setup, and use EAC:

after that its just a matter of dragging your mp3 files into whatever burning program you have (such as nero). be sure to keep all your albums in separate folders so your player can see the individual albums, which makes it easier when searching for songs in the car.

Any q's feel free to ask...good luck
