I am interested in an MP3 player and "BoomBox" with the capability of attaching my USB HD which holds all my music files. All of the "BoomBoxes" that I have seen have only a docking connection for MP3 Players (i.e. IPods) and I cannot find a connection/adapter so I can play directly from my USB HD. Is there such a unit out there? Thanks for the help . .. napamac
well I really don't recommend an ipod, there are many mp3 players out there much better. creative makes an excellent line of mp3 players, and the new Zune from microsoft have many more features than the trendy overpriced ipod. I don't think there are boomboxes out there that can dock with players other than ipods, however I have seen many boomboxes that have a input for mp3 players, so you can still get a boombox that you can plug any mp3 player into...the one I saw was a Sony I beleive.
thank you both for your response . . . Do you know if you can plug a portable HD into the Sony BoomBox? That is my ultimate goal. So that I can use the Portable HD, which has all my music on it, as the source Thanks,
