i need a program that can convert a folder of about 1,000 songs that are mp3's into WMA's without having to go through each folder and pick out all of the songs, one that will be able to do the one massive folder plus all of the subfolders within it, free or trial watever it doesnt matter, thanks

I don't know about doing whole folders but I know of two that can convert at least 1 song at a time.

    1) dBpowerAMP - http://www.dbpoweramp.com/

    2) jetAudio - http://www.jetaudio.com/

BTW why do you want to go from MP3 to WMA. You will lose quality converting so you might as well stick with MP3 which IMO is a better format that WMA.

I need WMA because I just bought a Olympus M:Robe 5gb music player thing (like the ipod) and 9 out of every 10 mp3's wont play and i read somewhere and have tested it and proved that all WMA's work with it, so instead of losing the $20 for shipping to ebay, i'd just convert the files

weazel200 suggested dbpower amp i used to it to convert all my music. it does convert multiple songs at once. unfortnunetly it wont do folders but u can highlight all the songs in the folder and convert them. it wont be as quick as the way want to do it but its still better than doing it 1 song at a time.
