mp3

    got a file that when i open the properties box it says Type file "MP3 audio file(mp3)". but win media player wont play it and nero want touch it either. Win media says it has an extension that does not match the file format????

    Did u make the mp3 file yourself or did you download it?

    i'm guessing he downloaded it as it is probably corupt

    downloaded it chaps, nothing says it is corrupt or got a virus!!

    It's probably a bogus file. My guess is someone has got a regular file and changed it's extension to .mp3.
