    Hi all!

I have mp3 files about 97MB[10 tracks]. It was given by a friend. However when I try to play it using Itunes or Media player, it wont. I noticed the bitrate is 0kbps and the other tags has nothing in it.. Is there a tool to fix this?Cause im sure the 97MB wont just be there for nothing.

    Thanks for the help!!

I've had a couple of those 0 Kbps MP3 files. They play fine in Foobar2000 and WinAmp.

Hi thanks for the reply. I tried Foobar but still could not open it. Is there a plugin that I need to download?

Here is the error using foobar:

Could not load info (Unsupported format or corrupted file) from:
"C:\Documents and Settings\dpangani\My Documents\Downloads\Dave Matthews Band - The Gorge [Limited Edition Box Set] [2004]\Dave Matthews Band - The Gorge (September 6, 2002) (Disc 1)\02 - When The World Ends.mp3"

    Thanks!

If Foobar can't play it, I guess is a corrupted file. Sometimes I've been able to "fix" them by opening them in an a sound editing program like Cool Edit, but don't get your hopes up...
