mp3's from vinyl

    I am using "Audacity" to make mp3s from albums. I need to know how to "clean up" the mp3 after recording. The "effect" button doesn't do anything. Tutorial says it needs to be in "audio." Can't find out how to get to "audio."

    run in the album as a WAV file, clean it up & butcher it down to MP3 afterwards if you really must.

    Tks I ran the line directly fm the turntable to the computer and it worked fine except for "cleaning it up."
