I have created a CD-RW with Roxio EZCD and put mp3's on it. Both my DVD and my Discman say they are compatible for CD-R/CD-RW and mp3's but neither can read the disc.

    Any suggestions

What format are you using for the discs? How 'deep' subdirectories? You should use ISO Level-1 with Joliet extensions and it is better to avoid more that 1 level of subdirectories as some MP3CD players can't scan 'deeper' than that.

I figured it out. When these things say CD-RW compatible it does not mean you can format them with DirectCD and then drag and drop files from windows explorer like a regular disk. I used Roxio Project Selector and created a data CD and it worked fine.

    Thanks
