Hi, I hoping someone can help. I have just bought myself a Nero burner unit. I don't know a whole lot about it but am slowly making my way through. I have about 10 songs I want to put onto a disc. They copy perfectly onto a CD-RW and play in my home stereo just fine but I can't seem to be able to copy them onto a CD-R disc. To my knowledge they copy onto the disc completely but when I put it into my home stereo there is nothing but silence. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone please help?
I would suggest that in the first instance you should try using different CD-R's to find which may work with your player. A pain I know, but this can only be done by elimination. There is a possibility that your player just does not like CD-R discs, mine was the same. Hope this is enough to get you started.
Thargor, Thankyou for your help. I did what you suggested and it worked. Seems my burner likes anything other than the gold coloured CD-R's (fussy machine.) Why is it that some will work and some don't? Are the burner units set up that way? Or is it just "One of those things" Thanks again for taking the time to reply and help me out. Cheers, Donna
