I am trying to convert a wedding dvd for a friend and put it on his ipod... but the problem is the audio is about -100ms off from the video so i was wondering how can i fix this (i used handbreak (svn snapshot) to make it into an mp4) -Chris
You can use 'Yamb' to demux the audio/video then remux them and insert a value in the delay box to correct the sync. Choose 'Editing' => '...Extract streams...' Load the mp4 and highlight stream. 'Extract all streams to raw...' and save the elementary stream output. Go back to 'Creation' => 'Create an mp4...' Add the demuxed elementary streams (not the source .mp4 file). Highlight the video stream and click on 'Properties'. Insert the 'Frame Rate' and a value for 'Media delay'. Choose an output path and file name and proceed to create the new file. Note:the frame rate should be the same video frame rate as the original mp4. You can get this information by dragging the original mp4 onto 'MediaInfo' http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/yamb.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/mp3_tools/mediainfo.cfm
