Hey all. I so need help. Got my new MP4 player from Hong Kong yesterday and i uploaded a cd to it through I-Tunes. worked great until i deleted one of the tracks and went back to play the others when a "Warning, No Music Files!" came up and now the entire music folder is gone. I try uploading again and it shows they are in there under the explorer window, but wont let me play them. Any help would be so appreciated. I did reformat several times even asking to restore device defaults if i did something wrong - - - still isnt working. Thanks all.

You bought a Chipod. They are usually junk. Any movement of of files on or off a Chipod is a opportunity for the Chipod to die. If it dies do not format it. You may as well take a hammer to it. At least hitting it with a hammer is fun.

Once they screw up, you have less than one chance in 100 that it will ever work again.

You really need to have put this querry on the portable devices /mp3 players. However, no one has actually fixed a Chipod there in years if ever. Apparently, 2-3 years ago someone claimed on that forum to have formatted a Chipod and it came back to life.

thanks for taking the time to email me. actually, i finally got it to take songs from cd's, but i havent tried downloaded music yet. the problem ive having now is that it is telling me "warning file format error" with my videos. i have certainly learned my lesson and will not mess with one of these again. im considering sending it back to china, but the radio works, ive got my songs on there. it takes great videos and pics and it does have a recorder and FM song recorder. so the only thing not working is the video. anyway, this is my first post ever to one of these sites so ill post my next prob in the right place. thanks again. no need to reply.

My advice is no videos and get all your music and load it once then do not mess with it. They always die after moving files to or from them.
