I need a program that will take an MP4 file and split it into 2 files WITHOUT re-encoding. I want to split my HD mp4 files so I can throw them on a FAT32 flash drive and play them in my Xbox. File size it limited to 4GBs and most of my files are larger than that. I'd like it to be as simple as possible, split without re-encoding, and possibly be free, but that may be asking to much. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!
Try AviDemux, it's free. Drag the mp4 onto the window. Mark in and out (make the cut on an "I" frame to avoid recoding. On the left side of the pane,set: video=>copy audio=>copy format=>mp4 Save with full name and extension (eg Part1.mp4)
