check the guides section for converting vcd to dvd. MPEG is vcd and mpeg2 is dvd.

Not all Mpeg-1 files are VCD files and Not all Mpeg-2 files are DVD Files...

If the files are DVD Compliant or even VCD or SVCD Compliant you can author them to DVD useing "MediaChance DVDLab" without re-encodeing the Files so these is No Quality Loss......

    Cheers

I am able to play it on my PC I tried Tmpegenc and it gives an error stating that it is in PAL and I tried Divx2DVD to get it into NTSC w/o any help. I used avi-MPG2 but still can't get it to work in DVDLAB.

    Hello~
I was just curious, i downloaded some files ..small mpeg commercials and things from a website..different sizes with different audio(obviously becuase they are different clips)just didn't want anyone to think they were the same movies just split up.I would like to join all the files together..1.do i need to convert them to mpeg2 or not(before i join them) or do i just join them..then burn them after.I tried a couple of joiner programs but they just messed up the video and audio it was overlapped when i watched it before i burned...any help would be appreciated.

    thanks alot

    hi

try divxtodvd its free (load more than one file at a time), but i like mainconcept which isnt free but you can batch encode one after the other

then drop the lot into tmpgenc dvd author and make menu or not and create vobs / burn.

    Hello~
I tried to download the second application but it said the server could not be located then i finally got to it and it asked for a serial number after it was installed. Can I just use ,shrink and decryptor?or not ..is there a guide for multiple mpegs into VSO DivxToDVD (or do you know how to add multiple files? it looks like you can only add one file...but maybe not.
    Thanks for the fast reply.
