Extremely Frustrating. About finished with all this nonsense. I have a movie mpg file fthat I downloaded from the internet. My goal is to burn that file either onto a CD or DVD and watch it in my DVD player. So far I've used tmpeg enc to break the file down into an audio file and video file, but the problem is that a mpeg-1 file is created instead of a mpeg-2... ifoedit won't work with a mpeg-1 file. So my question is, how did the mpeg-1 file get into the VCD format to begin with? Please help... How can I get I burn the movie I downloaded to a DVD and watch it tonight on my DVD player?? Thanks

First off , please be more considerate & add a little imagination to thread title as 'Help!' ... is actually no help to those that might aide you in your quest of enlightenment ; )

From the guides section : http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vcd_to_dvd-r.cfm

Once you have files from that guide then look at TMPGEnc DVD Author guide (there's a 30 day free & fully working trial of this software btw).
