I downloaded a movie that is an mpeg 2 file but not one of my players, windows media, realplayer, quicktime, divx or cliprex will play it. Any suggestions? Much appreciated.

I believe that SVCD uses Mpeg2. do a search and download the drivers for SVCD. They should download and work in your Windows media player. or maybe in Nero.

    See if that works.

Thanks for the suggestion but when I typed svcd into the search, it came up with a list of sites with downloads designed to convert files into svcd rather than just the player itself. I just basically need to download a player or amend one I have to play this mpeg 2 file.

I've also downloaded Moonlight-Elecard MPEG2 player v2.3 and it still won't play! It says it has an unsupported format.
