I looked at 20 pages of google search with my question and so I'm sorry if I shouldn't be posting, but I don't get an error so I don't even know how to search for my answer! I have an MPEG movie on my computer and I'm trying to use ConvertxtoDVD. There are five chapters, they show up when I drag the file to the Convert box and click on the title. But when I watch the video preview, it only renders the title "scene #1" (does not continue to scene 2 etc.) It does NOT say chapter 1. Anyway, when I burn the DVD, only the title of about 10 seconds plays and then it goes back to "menu" page. thanks to whomever.
Have u merged these mpeg files into one file? If you haven't you will need to or you will need to convert each one without burning them to disc then compile them using shrink and burn with dvd decrypter. If the file is already in one stream go into your settings for ConvertX and adjust the timing as to how often you want a chapter mark set. You may also want to search the guides here on afterdawn.com. Convertx is the only authoring program I use other than shrink make sure u keep it up to date.
have you tired with the version 3.1.3.40. Want to post the log file here? Did you contact VSO directly? they should be able to help too.
