MPEG Help

    Ok, i admit it, i'm a total virgin at this, but i have a tv in card on my p.c., just recorded a whole day's WRC rally program. the format it saved it in was MPEG, i now want to burn the files onto dvd, What do i do.... tried to burn using Nro 6.0, i can view it on my pc, but not my DVD, as i said, i am new to this......

    Captureing to Mpeg is Not enough..The File has to me Mpeg2 and it has to be DVD Compliant meaning it has to have a DVD Compliant Resolution ,Bitrate,audio format and sample rate...If you use a pre set DVD Template to capture these Files then they should be OK so then what you need is a DVD Authoring Program so you can add Chapters and menu"s and author to DVD-R...A really simple one to use is called "Tmpgenc DVD author" it will do what you want...Cheers

    Unfortunately, MPEG1 --> DVD-grade MPEG2 is somewhat futile because the quality will still be at that of the MPEG1 but take up the space of the much larger MPEG2 files. If possible, record using MPEG2. :)
