I have a toshiba sd3750. The claim is that it won't play +r media, it should play +rw. My +r locks up my standalone so I'm going to try +rw this wkend... ANWAY... My question is. I've read here and there that you can embed an mpeg file into your media and its possible your player will read it like it was a regular dvd. Where can I get some direction on this topic? Or am I understanding what mpeg coding is about?
you have to have a standard compliant DVD format in order for any standalone DVD player to read, unless of course you were to create a SVCD/VCD format on a DVD-R media.. either way, here are 4 great articles on how to do these: http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/small_dvd_2_dvdr.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/vcd_to_dvd-r.cfm http://www.vcdhelp.com/svcddvdr.htm http://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm best of luck!
