First, I have a question. That is all I need feedback on. I do no care abou tyour opinions on quality, or what you would do instead. I have my own reasons for wanting to encode and compress mpegs to avi, and I just need some info on how to do it. I have VirtualDub, FlaskMpeg wont run for me, but my avbis are coming out bigger than the mpeg. Doh! What settings do i need to user in VirtualDub, or if there is a better program for what Im trying to do what is it, and what are the settings for it? Thanks in advance.

Well, I decided on using TMPGENC to go from mpeg to .avi, and finally go thte settings to suit my needs. The results are fine for what Im wanting. Thanks for tyeh info though.
