mpeg to dvd-r

    Ok, I'm sure that this question has been asked a million times over but I cannot seem to find a thread that explains with enough detail how to convert a file from .mpeg to a dvd-r that my stand-alone will recognize. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated whether it's a fwe words of wisdom or a point to a thread/site that contains the info I'm looking for

    I have Similar Prob. Just starting and tried neo-dvd to burn and nero and both will not work in my APEX 1500. Went to Best Buy and worked in some high dollar DVD players. Could authorising be the prob? Please Help.
