mpeg to dvd

    hi i would to put an mpeg on to a dvd and i need to know what to do. Can someone give me a step by step please?
    Also do i need a dvd burner or can i use my cd-r with nero burning rom?

    Depends helluva lot. What MPEG it is, MPEG-1 or MPEG-2? How's the audio, MP2, AC3? What's the resolution, 352x240, 480x480, ...?

    its spiderman the movie, i havent completed the download yet. how will i find out if its mpeg1 or 2?
    Will i need a dvd writer or can i use my cd burner will nero? there is a video cd option, could this be of any help to me?

    If it is Spiderman, it's kinda likely the SVCD version, so burning it using SVCD template in Nero should be OK.

    hi again, sorry its an avi file what does this mean i will have to do?
    WILL I NEED A DVD BURNER????????????
    also can i use a cd-r or do i need a dvd-r

    What do you want to do with it? Watch it on your PC or watch it on your DVD player (the thingy attached to your TV)?

    i want to watch it in a dvd player, i can already wach it on my computer.
    I just downloaded scooby doo as an avi file and backed it up on a cd-r im trying to back up spiderman to cd-r but i cant. im using easy cd creator but it crash's with spiderman, any ideas why?
