why don't you download ConvertXToDVD and try it out:
    http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
the free version will leave a watermark to it but you can see how fast it is and how it works..... and it will work! I have all the VSO programs because of their quality.

I did download ConvertXToDVD but it leaves the watermark in the middle of the screen i wouldn't mind it if it was in the corner but not the middle of the screen

You would need to buy it to get rid of the watermark. I use this program all the time and it is well worth the money. IHoe is right on about the quality of VSO products. I have ConvertX and CopytoDVD. Both excellent.

If you don't mind a watermark in the upper left corner, you could use MainConcept MPEG Encoder. Very tweakable and good for episodes and good out of the box with an unlimited trial. But you would need an authoring program and also a burning program. I think IfoEdit would author the mpg and ImgBurnn could be used to burn and both are free. That said, ConvertXtoDVD is well worth the money.

Cucusoft Free DVD Author - MPEG to VOB Converter" can convert MPEG-2 file to .VOB files. So that you can burn the output .VOB files onto a DVD+/-R(W). Then you can play it on your home DVD-Player.

You will first need to check and see if all of the episodes were converted in the first place.
Hopefully you have not deleted any of your original mpegs or the files placed in ConvertX's working folder.
If you still have everything, open your working folder and see what was created during the conversion.

Open ConvertX and click Settings. Select General.
You should see your Working Folder's address.
Click the button to the right of the address box to open the browser.
The "Select Folder" browser will open and your working folder will be highlighted in gray.
Expand it by clicking the + box next to it. Keep expanding until you see a VIDEO_TS folder.
Right click the VIDEO_TS folder and select "Open".
You should see a bunch of files in there. What you are looking for are .VOB files.
    Look for:
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_4.VOB
    VTS_01_5.VOB
    And so on.
Each of these vobs should correspond to an episode I believe. There is a 1 gig limit to vobs but I doubt if any particular episode was that big.
At any rate, look and see what is there. Play the vob with your media player for a moment to check.
If they are not all there then there was a problem with the conversion. If they are all there then there was a problem with burning.
Once we know what we are working with we can go from there.
BTW when you bought ConvertX you also bought excellent technical support. They can view what is going on if you've granted server access through your firewall. Contact them for more details I'm pretty sure they will ask you to repeat the project.

With any new program I like to start small as I get to know where all the buttons are and what features a program has. I always make several "dry runs" burning to a HDD location rather than a disc. Once I am happy with the HDD results I will burn the DVD. Even then I may not use the burn feature with a new program. I've been burning with Nero Burning ROM for a long time and will usually open that to burn with.

One more thing is that conversion can take a long time so be sure your computer is not used for anything else. It could be something disrupted or caused a glitch of some sort during the process. Just something to be aware of. Multitasking is not a good idea and we always advise against it. I do break this rule at times but if I have a problem, at least I know I did it.

try to use AVS Video Converter

I think it is the best.
It is very simple. You will start working from the first launch.

Convert video DVD to portable media players, convert video among all popular video formats, split & join files, rip video DVD to DivX, burn DVD, VCD and SVCD with integrated burning engine, edit and enhance video and even much, much more.
