WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME AND TELL ME WHAT SOFTWARE I NEED TO TAKE MP,DIVX, AVI, AND OTHER DOWNLOADED FILES AND CONVERT THEM INTO VCD OR SVCD THAT CAN BE VEIWED ON STANDALONE DVD PLAYERS. ALSO WHICH OF THE TWO(SVCD OR VCD) WORK BETTER ON STANDALONE DVD PLAYERS. AFTER THAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT PROGRAM I WILL NEED TO BURN THESE FILES ONTO A CDR. YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

First of all, loose the caps, its a direct violation of the rules so you will be banned if caught by the admin!

    Secondly, visit http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/

The software you shgould use for most of these purposes is TMPGEnc (http://www.tmpgenc.net)

Also, VCD is supported by more stand-alones than SVCD but svcd carries higher quality so you can choose between em for yourself!.
