    I have several MPG2 files that only have audio on the right channel. Very annoying when watching a clip. Does anyone know of an encoder that would add the same audio to the left channel also ? I want mono audio and be rid of the stereo effect.

    Run Rejig choose 'File Mode'.
    Select the MPEG file then demux both streams to M2V amd MPA

    Load/drag the .mpa file into Audacity.

    Ctrl+a
    Ctrl+c
    Click on a blank area of the window
    Ctrl+v

    On the drop down menu of the first stream, select 'Left Channel'
    Do the same on the second stream and select 'Right Channel'

    File => Export to wav.

    Use ffmpegGui to convert WAV to MP2

    Load mp2 and M2V into IMagoMPEG Muxer and create new MPEG file.

    Rejig Demux VOB/MPEG to M2V and MP2
