    What is the whole convert to mpg-2 malarkey about?

    Hi there...

    you need your videos to be in MPG-2 format if you want them to be compliant with DVD standards. In other words, if your file is not an MPG-2 then your DVD authoring program won't be able to treat the file and create your DVD
