mpg or avi to dvd

    Anybody know a good(free) program that is simple to use that i can backup and mpg or avi file onto a dvd that will play on my dvd player?

    I use VSO ConvertXtoDVD software. But it's not free. It's around $30.00's or so (last time I checked). And I have had pretty good results from it. So you might look into that too.

    $50 or so for Cvtx2DVD. DVD Flick does the same job, for free. Menus, subtitles, multiple titles/video sources, great quality...

    Flick works good for me and pretty simple to use..THANK YOU :) ...Anybody know where to download good avi's or mpg's?..All that i tried so far the picture looks like crap

    @kidkennyk. I think what creaky is getting at is you can't ask about stuff like that or discuss about downloading what could be illegal content from the internet. So don't take creaky's response personally. Just know that usually if you get a response from a moderator it is either a good thing or bad. In this case it's both. Just trying to keep you from getting the peruvial boot. I would review the terms of use and policy if you haven't already. Just words of advice from your fellow member. But getting back to dvd flick. I haven't tried it. But will as soon as I get the chance.
