MPT won't work it keeps saying "initializing"

    I can upload games to my phone with no prob. now i want to upload some ring tones that i got and i wanted to use MPT but dose not work are there any alternatives to MPT

    PS: I have a Moto V220 with cingular and i unlocked my phone. and i have Java app loader
