    I'm using DVD Decrypter, is there anyway I could still use it or do I need to buy another program?

    You don't need the Beta Version to back up this title. I had no problem backing up Mr. Woodcock. I did the movie only. Ripped with AnyDVD ripper, version 6.3.0.3 which is the latest, dumped it into shrink & burned it with good old fashion decrypter.

    @MMAKO

    So far success has been with the beta version of AnyDvd, use Binkie7's post (up a little ways) to get it.

    Decrypter by it's lonesome won't do this one but w/ AnyDVD it might.
    Instead of buying something you can just use the beta of DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip w/ instead - 4.0.5.1 beta.

    @ZoSoIV
    I didn't try an earlier version on this one -went straight to the latest beta after seeing this thread previously. Now Good Luck Chuck used 6.3.0.3 - full back up on that one too.

    I downloaded the latest version of anydvd 6.3.0.9 and it worked great. I have a question about anydvd I just purchased it and I received version 6.3.0.3 and I have anydvd set to automatically get newer versions is there a difference from what I purchased and the Beta version?

    Th beta version is a 'test' version until they release it officially. You'll get the email notification when they release a new official version.
    The beta versions can be found at their forum - link.

    binkie7- Profuse and bountiful thanks ! I was having a Real Billy Bob of a Time trying to Back-up Mr. Woodcock till I tried the Beta Version of Anydvd With CloneDvd and it worked like the proverbial charm ! my previous attempt netted me a Burned disc that would'nt go past the menu - I would click on play movie and nothing would happen ! So that disc went to Shredderville !!!! But now I have a backup that works ! So again Thanx Ms. Binkie & Everyone else too At Afterdawn I know we can always count on afterdawns community of friends , Sages & Techno- Guru's to be able solve most any problem or answer most any question in the Dvd-dom and computer arena ! And As Tony the Tiger would say " That's GRRRREEEAAATTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!" Good luck & Happy Burning Binkie7 & everyone !!! Cia0!!!!!!!!!!Y'all!!!

    @riggs0008 & BIGTOXY69
    You're welcome! Yep thanks to this thread too - I just went straight to the beta and no problems.

    @UncFan09
    Like I usually do I unchecked all the unwanted special features and unneeded audio (I only leave ac3-6) and there was very little compression of this one.
    Uncheck what you don't want in Clone to keep the compression.
    Even if you don't Clone will still compress to fit on a DVD-5.

    So all i have to do is open Any DVD, rip it to my hard drive using AnyDVD the New Beta Version, and then use Clone DVD to burn it to the DVD-R? Is this correct or do i need to do something different??

    Just have AnyDVD running - you'll see a red fox in the system tray.
    Then open CloneDVD.
    You don't really need to rip it first w/ the ripper useless you want to.

    Here's a guide for Clone - link

    Using these Directions will definitely work to make a backup of Mr Woodcock?

    Yes - it what I did and how I usually back up my movies - have AnyDVD running - rip, compress and burn w/ CloneDVD.

    I did Mr. Woodcock with AnyDVD and Dvdshrink. Opened the Dvd in Dvdshrink re-author choose main movie draged to dvd structure hit back up worked fine. I did have a few troubles at first. I know it is small enough not to shrink it but what the hell right!!
